Our Solutions

Six kinds of work we do.

What We Install

Every Solution, In Depth.

Safety Assessments

01

Safety Assessments

A walkthrough of your home with our Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist (CAPS).

We walk the rooms you use every day — kitchen, bath, hallways, entries and stairs — and note where things are hard or unsafe. Depending on the level you choose, you get either an on-site conversation or a written report listing what we'd change and in what order. When we complete qualifying recommended work, a portion of the assessment fee may be credited toward the project.

  • Room-by-room hazard and mobility assessment
  • Written recommendations available with the full assessment
  • Coordinated with your OT, PT or care team
Grab Bars

02

Grab Bars

Placed where you reach, with mounting suited to the wall.

A grab bar only helps if it's where your hand already goes. Heather helps set the height and angle for the person using it, and Bruce installs it using secure mounting methods appropriate for the wall structure, location and intended use. Bath, toilet, entries — wherever the reach is.

  • OT-informed positioning
  • Quality grab bars in a variety of sizes, styles and finishes
  • Secure mounting appropriate to the wall structure and application
Ramps & Accessible Entries

03

Ramps & Accessible Entries

Ramps built to fit your entry.

Modular ramps if you need something temporary, built-in wood if it's staying. We work out the slope, the landing and the railings, and we'll look at thresholds and lighting while we're there.

  • Modular aluminum or custom-built wood
  • Slope and layout designed for the user, site conditions and applicable requirements
  • Handrails, landings and threshold transitions
Accessible Bathroom Remodels

04

Accessible Bathroom Remodels

Full bathroom remodels, including BestBath step-free showers.

Wider doorways, step-free showers, comfort-height fixtures, non-slip tile, support bars and better lighting. We're a certified BestBath installer, so we also fit walk-in and roll-in shower units with seating, bars, shelf niches and handheld sprayers. Heather plans the layout; Bruce builds it.

  • BestBath walk-in and roll-in barrier-free showers
  • Built-in or fold-down seating, grab bars and handheld showerheads
  • Comfort-height toilets and vanities
  • Widened doorways, slip-resistant flooring and improved lighting

05

Custom Modifications

Handrails, transfer benches, threshold ramps, lever handles and similar work.

Not every job is a remodel. Small changes often do the most: handrails inside and out, transfer benches, lever door handles, raised toilet seats, pull-out shelving. Tell us what's giving you trouble and we'll tell you what we'd do about it.

  • Interior and exterior handrails
  • Lever hardware and easy-grip pulls
  • Transfer benches and bedside support
Lifts & Mobility Equipment

06

Lifts & Mobility Equipment

Getting between levels when stairs no longer work.

When stairs or a level change get to be too much, a lift is often the practical answer. We install vertical platform lifts, stair lifts, inclined platform lifts, ceiling lifts and FlexStep systems, choosing based on your home's structure and who's using it. We test it and show you and your caregiver how to run it.

  • Vertical and inclined platform lifts for porches and split levels
  • Straight and curved stair lifts
  • Ceiling lift systems and FlexStep stair-to-lift conversions
